  My Name

I have been a full time actor in Nollywood for close to 6 years, I trained as an actor at the Goldsmith College UK, and went on to get a degree in Multimedia and Film Production at the Thames Valley University, now known as West London University UK.

For years I was a part-time actor living in the UK. It is tough for a lot of black actors in the UK working as full time actors, as there are not that many well paid black roles available and of cause there are so many talented black actors in the UK. So moving back to Nigeria was something that was easy for me to decide knowing that if I wanted a career as an actor/filmmaker, I will have to find a new arena.

I happened to move back to Nigeria when the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) was in its transformation period, new filmmakers and investors seeing the potentials of the industry.

Fortunately I landed a role in - by Nollywood standard - a fairly big budget film, LAST FLIGHT TO ABUJA, Directed by a friend and UK based Director who I had worked with in the past, Obi Emelonye. The star studded cast and the great PR for the film gave me the platform I needed to start my career as an actor in Nollywood.

Soon I was on the popular daytime TV series TINSEL as the character OTTAH. Being on TINSEL was another platform which gave my new brand the lift required to gain the attention of popular Directors and Producers in Nollywood, one of them being the amazingly talented writer/Director/Producer Blessing Edge who called me in for a reading for her amazing TV series LEKKI WIVES, which went on for 3 successful seasons.

Since then I have gone on to do some really amazing projects that I will say I am proud to place my brand on.

As every actor, the bug and the urge to create and tell my own stories is now upon me (smiles) I recently started my own production company, BUILDING BLOCK PICTURES and recently Wrote/Produced/Directed my 1st TV series KNOLLYWOOD KNOCKING.
I am currently in talks with Africa Magic, Mnet, negotiating a deal with them for the rights to show it on their platform across Africa only.

I am currently looking forward to a great future in the entertainment industry, both in front and behind the camera. I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of the Nigerian Film/TV industry.
